TEIC
TEIC (Teach English In China) is the organisation that I used to organize and place me in China. Run by Phil Thomas, TEIC has close links with CEAIE and HPEAIE (China Education Association for International Exchange and Hunan Provincial Education Association for International Exchange), which places graduates in teaching positions in China (see the CEAIE and HPEAIE page).
I have had a brilliant experience thus far with TEIC and Phil Thomas. I decided fairly late in my university life (around March of my third year) to sign up to TEIC, and I must say, any fears I had about travelling to China, working here and the culture were allayed by informal chatting with Phil, who has been here and done it. TEIC’s close links with CEAIE and HPEAIE made the whole process run a lot smoother, and kept me in the loop about everything, as with an undertaking such as this, you want to be involved as much as you can, to ensure there is no miscommunication about your wants and needs.
There is a link to the site under ‘Links’ but if you can’t be bothered to go that far, here it is!

Nice presentation. When will the next blog appear.
Would you drop the Cardiff University words from your intro as the Uni isnt involved in the programme.
Hope things are going ok for you. It seems that jaclyn is not paying yur airfares, 50%, at Jan, much to my surprise and disappointment. I have changed the website to inform people, next year, about the Hunan policy. Sorry about this year but I was not informed. Typical China, !!!!
Happy new year Callum!
and happy new year Phil!
I just feel confused too because we have been doing the same thing in the past few years and it worked really well. How could this year be different?
With more communications, things will be going more smoothly
not typical China
